Updating Device Settings When Removing CD-ROMs, Medium

Changers, and Tape Drives

To update device settings when you remove an existing CD-ROM, medium changer, or tape

drive:

Step Action Notes

1 Click on the redirected CD-ROM,

medium changer, or tape drive in the

FTvirtual Server that you want to

remove.

2 Choose Actions Remove

right-click, then choose Remove.

A verification message is displayed. Click Yes to

indicate that you are sure you want to remove the

device.

If you click No, an informational dialog box indicates

that the removal is cancelled. Click OK to

acknowledge this dialog. Then follow the steps to

remove a different device.

Select File Write Device

Settings to save the settings.
